Ullal: A children’s grama sabha was held at Mahatma Gandhi Auditorium in Harekala gram panchayat here on Monday.
“There is no proper way to the school and it causes injuries. We are short of a room as one room has been given to the Anganwadi,” say the children. The children of The Rajagudde School also complain that there is a problem with buses going to school.
Humps had made a demand when the previous gram sabha was held in our own school but it is yet to be fulfilled. Even though there is a sign board near the school saying don’t make noise, they make announcements on the horns and mics of the vehicles. The children of Ramakrishna School said that there was a water problem in the school.
He demanded from the children of Newpadpu Hazabbar School to provide an electric napkin burner for the personal hygiene of the girls.
Though the drinking water tank is on the side of Rajagudde school, immediate action will be taken in the wake of complaints of water scarcity. Schools do not get grants from the government as per the demand. However, we will provide solutions to the problems with donors, MLAs and panchayat funds,” said Badruddin Faridnagar, president of the panchayat.
